SOCIETY's ENDEAVOURS
Every endeavor is made by the Society to provide the following services to its members:
- 1.0 Follow-up with service providers for speedy complaint redressal:
- 1.1 HMWSSB for regular water supply.
- 1.2 HMWSSB for maintenance of drainage.
- 1.3 TSSPDCL for issues concerning disruptions in electric supply, voltage fluctuations, fuse restoration, etc.
- 1.4 TSSPDCL for issues concerning dysfunctional street lights, tree branches obstructing electric wires, etc.
- 1.5 Police Department for issues concerning crime and security.
- 1.6 Registering and addressing any complaints of Society members.
2.0 Follow-up with service providers for providing timely information updates to members:
- 2.1 HMWSSB on domestic water supply timings.
- 2.2 TSSPDCL for disruptions in electricity supply for scheduled maintenance works.
- 2.3 Health Department for information on COVID-19 vaccination availability.
3.0 Follow-up with service providers to ensure regular and quality service provision:
- 3.1 GHMC for domestic garbage disposal.
- 3.2 GHMC for garden waste disposal.
- 3.3 GHMC for road sweeping service.
- 3.4 GHMC for fumigation to control vectors.
- 3.5 GHMC for management of street dog population (sterilization services).
4.0 Interaction with Govt Officials and elected representatives:
- 4.1 Interaction with elected representatives, such as MLA and Corporator, to ensure that the development needs of Society are met through allocation of adequate resources.
- 4.2 Advocacy and follow-up with Government Officials to ensure that the Society is provided required amenities.
- 4.3 Provision of basic service personnel (electrician, plumber) to cater to small repairs.
- 4.4 Provision of night watch services.
- 4.5 Maintenance of CCTV surveillance system.
- 4.6 Maintain website of society for structured communication with members.
5.0 Maintenance of Society’s assets including:
- 5.1 Basic infrastructure such as office premises and equipment, overhead tank, bore well, open well, etc.
- 5.2 Society’s Parks (East Park and West Park) and Playground.
- 5.3 Other common assets and properties of the Society such as vacant plots.
6.0 Fulfilling all statutory obligations of the Society, including:
- 6.1 Organizing periodic and regular meetings of the Management Committee to deliberate and take decisions on Society matters.
- 6.2 Organizing periodic and regular meetings of the General Body to deliberate and take decisions on Society matters.
- 6.3 Meeting all statutory requirements of the Society (including annual audit of accounts).
- 6.4 Sharing the monthly financial statements with all Society’s members.
7.0 Other activities:
- 7.1 Liaison with Health Care Facilities for organizing periodic medical camps within the Society’s premises.
- 7.2 Liaison with Corporate Service Providers (e.g., piped natural gas suppliers) for provision of service to Society members.
- 7.3 Organizing events to mark important National Festivals (e.g., Republic Day, Independence Day).
- 7.4 Co-operate with members’ groups (e.g., Puja Committee) involved in organizing celebrations of festivals.
- 7.5 Monitoring pending or future legal issues
